Fees & Insurance

Transparent and Thoughtful Care

We understand that cost is an important part of your decision to start therapy. Conversations about money can feel complicated, and we aim to approach them with openness, clarity, and respect.

At Heartspace Therapy, we are committed to providing high-quality, personalized care while also working to make therapy as accessible as possible.

Session Fees

Each therapist sets their own rates, which are listed on their individual profile pages. Fees may vary depending on the type of service and the therapist you choose.

If you have questions about specific rates, we encourage you to reach out. We are happy to walk you through your options and help you find a fit that works for you.

Sliding Scale Options

We offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to help increase access to therapy for those who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

These reduced-fee spots are prioritized for individuals with multiple marginalized identities or those facing financial barriers to care.

Availability is limited, and spots may open periodically. If you are interested, we encourage you to inquire about current availability.

Payment Options

Payment methods may vary by therapist. Most therapists accept major credit or debit cards, and some may accept HSA or FSA payments.

You can confirm payment options directly with your therapist.

Questions About Cost

We know that finances can be a sensitive topic, and we welcome open conversations about it. Our goal is to help you find a path to care that feels manageable and sustainable.

If you have questions about fees, insurance, or payment options, we encourage you to reach out.

Insurance

Heartspace Therapy is an out-of-network practice. This means we are not directly contracted with insurance providers.

We have chosen this model so we can:

Out-of-Network Reimbursement

Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement for therapy sessions.

We can provide documentation, often called a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

We recommend contacting your insurance company to ask about:

If you need support navigating this process, we are happy to help guide you.
